In February 2013, Wellington Windows and Doors (WWD) were born out of the well-known and trusted brand First Windows and Doors Ltd.
Our new name reflects exactly who we are — Wellington's aluminium window and door specialists — manufacturing, supplying, and installing the optimal products for Wellington's challenging natural conditions.
Most new building sites within Wellington require joinery designed for “extreme conditions”. That is why our customers choose WWD, they are sure that we know what we are doing and that we will get it right.

Wind Zones for the Wellington City Urban Areas using NZS3604:2011. When applying for a building consent, the wind zone in which a structure is located determines structural requirements (New Zealand Building Code - NZBC B1 - Structure) and weather tight requirements (NZBC E2 - External Moisture).
